Cinque Terre is the perfect beach vacay spot in Italy with, postcard worthy, colorful buildings everywhere. Cinque Terre is a costal city made up of 5 towns. I highly recommend staying in Riomaggiore, which is the largest of the 5 towns. From Riomaggiore you can get a shuttle pass, or just hike, through the other towns. Manarola is the best town to rent a boat in order to view Cinque Terre from the Italian sea. The most important thing to do when in Cinque Terre is eat anything with Pesto! Cinque Terre is famous for it’s amazing & fresh pesto.
